Ok did a brake job on my disco II and while torquing down one of my wheel lug nuts the bolt/stud snapped off. It's a pressed in stud so I called the local dealer to get a new one. They said this part is anot available separatey and that I had to buy the whole hub. They also siad there is no way to get it past the bearing retainer if I wanted to put a new one in...

Is this all BS? Seems they should be able to be replaced (Ihave not tried pushing it all the way back through yet).

I guess worst case scenario I get something with the same thread and weld it into the hub.

Ideas?

sounds right to me. I had the front hubs off my TD5 the other day they are all in one units... Hub, Studs, ABS wheel, Bearings... that's why they're 200 odd quid!
