broken bonnett cable

Hi everyone, unfortunatly i have managed to snap or its come apart under the bonnett the bonnett release cable, i have an 04 plate freelander, does anyone know the best way to get my bonnett open??? Any help would be amazing thanks

Hello,

I'm quite new around here but what I do know is that they like you to introduce yourself first.

Someone will know, but have you 'searched' it at all?

Thks guys, yes it does not look easy but im gonna try and attempt tomorrow as new cable has arrived, hopefully i wont have to break grille. Also ive introduced myself on the other forum thks again steve

Hello guys, update so far, manage to remove a small section of the grill and also removed the little under tray of the bonnet latch mechanism, however ive pushed and prodded but cant work out what bit of the lever unlocks the latch....... any ideas guys
