believe it or not, after fitting a pair of britpart front shocks a few months ago, today was the real test to see if it changed anything on a 140 mile return trip to drop off the mrs, daughter, 1 grandchild and a disco rear chocked full of xmas pressies.
= had a bit of a load on !!
used my usual potholed route of A12 from mine to just inside of the M25 without a slightest mumur of wheel wobble,
then drove home alone through the worst rain I`ve seen in a long time - BUT, again, that poxy potholed road from M25 back along A12 to my hometown turn off without the slightest mumur of wheel wobble.
OK, I was not driving like I stole it, but was following heavy traffic at speeds between 45mph to nigh on 70mph.
like most I used to get bad wheel wobbles at around 55 to 65 mph...
when I took off my old front shocks it looked like they had been on there a long long time, possably from new ??
as the lower fitting nuts had almost welded themselves on
still, after the poxy weather drive, the non existant death wobble has made me smile today,
all done by Britpart....
how long they last - how the feck will I know....lol
merry christmas
