has anyone actually managed to fit these horrible little things? I give up. I tried clamps and all sorts but kept slipping. You can’t even get the tiniest bit of thread to show!!

Yeah that’s how I’m doing it. They’re such a **** fit I’m going to order plain ones

Have you measured the pin, the spigot spacer and the bush widths?

I had to trim 10mm off the spigot spacer and even then they were tight but wound up good and tight, warmed them up in a jug of hot water to make them a little more pliable too.

Bit confused now - think I could have been trying to jam in the wrong bushes!!! Looking in the removal box it seems these ones may be the ones I need to fit! I way trying to squash in two trapeze shaped ones which I now do not know where they belong...
Could anyone confirm these are the top shock ones? Thanks

It’s confirmed. I’m a tw@t. For some reason I zip tied the bushes I was trying to use to the shocks in a pair so assumed they were correct. My next problem is I only have two cups on each shock. I think the originals were chiseled off then the bush just sat directly on the axle plate. I’m guessing this is a requirement before fitment

As such, I’m going with this as have these at my disposal due to a spare shock coming with car. Seems a solution to me?

They are the top ones, they are a bit of a squeeze so long as the centre sleeve is the right length they will squish up when warmed in a jug of warm water.

They go fat end facing the outside of the shock, use a smear of grease or vaseline to help them slide in.

Cheers they’re all in mate. The penny dropped when I looked at my removed box to not find anything that looked close to what I was trying to jam in there. So used to things taking effort lol. Bit of red rubber grease and the correct ones slid straight in nicely
