Britpart rant again..

Took the Landy for its MOT on Saturday, it failed on a small bit of welding and wheel bearings..

No probs whipped to Island 4x4 and got a wheel bearing kit for £14, 2 sets of bearings, oil seal, lock washer and gasket. Bearings are Britpart.

Went home had old bearinging off in a short space of time, in between doing the bit of welding. Went to drift the new inner bearing on the shaft and it just fell apart!!!! Brand new feckin bearing. And there was me thinking I could have it passed its MOT in the early afternoon...


Now got a set coming from Rockinham Timkin ones, will not be using Britpart again for anything, esp brakes, bearings etcetc..

was goin to use paddocks, but when i told him the price heard nowt since.

was the straight one he was after, seems as there is some miliatry around with standard chassis as well.

Oh well

least ya know now .... maybe next time .....

Thats it isnt it, forund another supplier of chassis parts i need to get in touch with as well
