Britpart Bushes

So I am doing my rebuild at the moment and I put on my pro comp shock absorbers on about 3 months ago using the bushes that were supplied with them as I couldn't remember where I had left my polybush set in the garage. I decided to change them over to the Britpart polybushes and here's what has happened to one of them. Surely this shouldn't happen to a one piece bush? Would this be a manufacturing fault or was it tightened too much (I don't think I did it that tight).

That happened to the bushes that came with my steering damper. Brit part again.

funny you should mention the steering damper, mine also did the same thing

I fitted the standard rubber bushes to it, all ok now.
