Well a couple of years ago there was a thread on which shockers to use.
I looked and bought 4 Britpart shocks for 70 notes from island 4x4, which was the price of 1 quality one.
The long and short of it is the passenger front lasted about a month (lost its fluid) and the drivers one caused a MOT fail this morning .

The lower attachment nut has sheared off!!:deadhorse:

You really do get what you pay for........

At the time I was a little tired of trying to fill the P38 money pit. So 70 notes for all 4 shockers ticked the box when I needed them.

In fairness the catastrophic failure of the last one did scare me a touch.

I am a little flusher now and a set of boges are on the motor.

Just to clarify the thread title, was the 'shocker' referring to the shock-absorber or the shock of a Brit part failing so soon? Perhaps it was a clever play of words on both, in which case a hat tip is due.
