breather pipes td5 disco

have got 2 breather pipes at rear of engine in front of windscreen /bulkhead on disco 2, do they locate in that area, as have had clutch fitted to car 3 week ago, used it friday and they have pressed the heater matrix return pipe against the engine hoist/lifting bracket, then it has rubbed through
they must have done this when fitting new clutch master cylinder,
i dont know if these are re-located back into the right area yet as to dark tonight 2 see in back of engine

sounds like gear box and t/box breathers ,they arent critical

so would they have come out when box was removed?

there attached to boxes unless you undo them at that end ,they get pulled out with boxes,usually fastened to clip behind head

Thanks for that, i will have a look tomorrow night, have to fit new heater matrix pipe,
the job has cost me a bomb since a Landrover Speacalist has renewed the clutch,
1. new slave cylinder, (yes i understand that)
2. new master cylinder (because they couldn't bleed it)
3. recon starter motor as orginal was swimming in clutch fluid after being bled
4. heater matrix pipe ( a pushed out of way and not moved back
what else??????
wish i had battled on and done it myself
