I have a 200 tdi discovery which is lifted and has the extra little bits like guards and bumpers and I'll be getting a 300 tdi disco tomorrow and will be swapping the extras over but was wondering what would be the best thing to do with the left over 200tdi disco whether to scrap it or sell the engine and box bit of guidance would be helpful :)

Defo split it and sell, sure you could well make a lot more on it than just scrapping it, if engine is a good un it will get taken no probs then tranny and axles and all the disco interior if n good nick, once everything is sold then srap the shell, put an ad in the classifieds on here

Break it down so all left is shell and chassis. Axles, props, interior, dickie seats, wheels, engine, transfer, gearbox, even heater. There are lots of other bits I have boxed and waiting on free listings days.

No brainer. Couple of hundred from scrappy or triple that splitting.

Sounds like a plan cheers guys. engine has done 210000 miles just run in lol seems ok though never let me down only problems is crank seals leak a bit but I'll prob replace them if it means it will sell easier. Looks like I'm gonna have a garage full of bits for a while
