Hi All, I had a breakdown in Cornwall over the weekend. The RAC came out to have a look and put his diagnostics machine on the car. He detected the fuel rail sensor had gone and as it was a Saturday afternoon could not get anybody to repair it so we ended up leaving the car in Cornwall and using a courtesy car from the recovery people to enable us to get back home. The car was brought back on Wednesday so ordered the parts ready for the repair.

Changed the sensor and the bit that goes behind the second nut, made sure the little silver washer was in place by using a little bit of grease, connected up the new wiring harness all looking good. Then the car wouldnt start so checked everything again all still good. Found out the fuel pump wasn't working so gave it a tap with a mallet and it burst into life. Right got the engine running but then noticed diesel dripping on the floor, OK checked everything again and could find no leak around the sensor. On further inspection it looks like the leak is coming from somewhere on the left side front of the engine. I've left it for tonight but just wondered if anybody else has had a fuel leak from this side of the engine and where it was coming from.

Thanks Grayo
