Break for spares or repair

Well its D day tomorrow for the Gaylander 03 plate TD4, it goes in for full diagnostics tomorrow. Nobody seems to be able to tell me the cause of all the warning lights that are on TC, ABS descent light speedo not working engine management. Depending on the cost of the repairs I could be breaking it for spares and scrap.
I've never had so much trouble and cost of trying diagnose a fault on a vehicle before, having said that I've never had a landrover before. Its back to Jap or kraut for me

its because yu havent maintained it properly.

TC, ABS descent light speedo not working, probably the rear o/s abs sensor as thats the one it uses for the speedo. As for the engine managment could be any number of things probable a sensor. will be intresting what faults show up.

Thanks for that mate. This is very interesting as I have had work done on the rear brakes, although be it mainly the near side. The code I had up P0500? speed probe & P1E00 can-bus error. Maybe I will hang on with the costly diagonstics and check out the the rear ABS sensors

Well it looks like I'll be keeping the Gaylander for a while anyway.
Many thanks to booboodag using the information you gave me I cleaned and tested the rear ABS sensors and the problems I had have now been cured.

If you have a problem with your gaylander the answers can be found on this site if they can't then your gaylander is scrap.

Lesson to take away from this is to ask on here before paying a truck load of money to dealer for diagnostic work, The Zone is cheaper and more accurate
