brc lpg anyone know?

just got a s/hand brc single point lpg for my 35 rr, it came with all the bits? but i can't sortout the wiring .
i can put l/n wire to rear solenoid
and get gas at vap

so if i was to put a switch to turn on/off solenoid
at tank and another switch to turn on / off fuel pump i think that would work ?
ps it hasn't got a stepper motor
i have looked on net and searched the forums

so wot do you think or any suggestions.;)

just found out i left some elecey bits behind and hes on holiday doh:confused:

so with all the v8s thats got lpg only one has got this type

and no one has tryed it on a switch ?

we can't all afford to just take it to a garage
 
The Gas solenoid shouldn't really be activated using a switch - it is there as a safety device to cut gas supply in the event of an incident - consider (God forbid) you were in an accident, you are knocked unconscious, then gas line at the engine has split and the engine has stopped - if your sparko, who is there to shut the gas supply off?? or would know how to??

The Gas solenoid should be actuated with an 'Engine is running' signal from some where - you need to do some investigation and find an electrical circuit that is only live when the engine is running - NOT IGNITION POSITION 2 LIVE - but one that if the engine cuts out regardless of ignition key position will cut the power to that circuit....then you can relay into that to power the gas solenoid.....

But you must find a way of having the gas solenoid shutoff when the engine dies, switches off, stops or stalls.....else you would be driving a gas bomb (as Datatek puts it)

this is only to test the gas side of things i am waiting for the guy to return from his hols to get the rest of wiring which i left behind (der)
you know wot its like new toy,
any way i have wired it up ,turn petrol off / turn gas on . so now i have gas to vaporizer but not come out to the inlet?
