My heater on my 2004 td5 auto only seems to heat when the engine is revving. When idle its cold. The engine temp is level at normal. Any ideas? As its - 10 at the moment.

Have you checked the coolant pump?

might be air in system try lifting coolant tank it just unclips, remove vent plug in top hose and see if coolant comes out if not add until it comes out,

I believe that the Discovery TD5 has been known to have a similar heating issue when the coolant is below the correct level. I’m not that interested in the D2 but I know there’s already threads on the subject in the Forum.
