Brakes

Having problems with my abs when starting up the light goes out and when i go to stop for the first time the abs engages (shudders to stopas if the pump has kicked in this is about 5mph) and the abs light comes on and then the brakes act normal with the light on everytime i start up the light does go out until i have to stop, sometimes if i stop the car for a little while the light sometimes don't go out i always now check the brakes as soon as i pull off but i feel safer with the light on than i do off but i know the abs aint working proberly with the light on.


Any ideas?

it sounds like the abs sensors to me but it could be the ecu, i think yer need clutchies opinion on this one as he is more technical than mechanical(no offence clutchy)

I cleaned the off side sensors and that done the trick
