Guys, quick question. Dash brake system light. Comes on when the emergency brake is disengaged but does not illuminate when engaged. THREE AMIGOS all gone. Brake fluid full to the brim, brake pads relatively new and no noise. Car sometimes applies a lil bit of braking on its own when in motion, almost feels like a lil bit of binding for a sec or two especially when changing gears. Is it a faulty brake switch or something more sinister?

That's a strange issue.

Try unplugging the level sensor on the fluid reservoir, then bridge the plug contacts with a loop of wire, which will eliminate an issue with the level sensor. See what happens to the warning lamp, after the sensor is bridged.

Edit:

See next post.

Thanks @Nodge68 . Can you touch on the subject though before we attribute it to some kind of witchcraft? I recently towed a mobile freezer and that was the beginning of the problem. Do you think the tractor-trailer connector could f-up something?

That seems very strange indeed.

I'd start by checking the brake lights actually illuminate, and ignore the above post, as in light of this new information, I suspect the fluid sensor is ok.

Internet says its only some malfunction of the hand brake because the yellow ABS light does not illuminate. see pic below, looks like this when the car is in motion and the light turns off if the hand-brake is engaged. Any take?

It's a fault light, but only for a few things.
The fluid being low is one reason that light comes on. Sometimes the sensor goes faulty, which might be the reason.
The other reason is an internal fault with the ABS system, which isn't affecting the way the ABS works.
A code read of the ABS module might reveal something.
It's also possible there's a fault with the Ipack, which could put the light on.

Maybe just disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, then try again?

Will get to it ASAP. Found a thread that was discussing a similar issue but the owner did not feedback as to how the issue was sorted (last seen 2019) but he said the switch did not help him. I hope mine will yield a different outcome
