brake problems

anyone had this? the day after a long journey i start up the car and the abs light and handbrake light dont go off as normal,i reverse out to find i hardly have any braking,i pump it a bit but it doesnt seem to change,so i decide to drive a bit and about 2 miles in thge brakes feel really hard untill i put foot rite down and it goes to the floor,20 mins later they are working normal and lights go out.the next day same thing happens.
anyone know about this problem please help.

i dont know if this is a factor but the night after the long journey it was parked half on half off the kerb on an angle.

ffs lad if yer brakes pedal is going to the floor STOP and get it fixed before yer kill someone

well im not driving it now,and when i say floor it does still stop me its just not normal

but i suspect yer master cylinder is fooked. get someone to pump yer pedal while you look into the reservoir fer bubbles. if yer see any popping up its fooked. either way do us all a favour and dint drive it till its sorted

that dunt matter , what matters is yer have a brake problem and thats dangerous

does a knackred master mean a whole replacement or is there a way of having it rebuilt?

yer can usually get seals for them but in me experience they are more trouble than they are worth, yer best orf getting a new cylinder

how much is one gonna set me back do ya reakon?

ave no idea but before you rush out and buy one make sure it is that wot is gubbed

ill have a proper check in a bit for the bubbles!
