Disco 1 brake pipe part number help.

Good evening, I 'm looking for little help (search function, google and ebay for the last couple of hours hasn't helped much)

I have a 200tdi discovery 1993 (LHD) with vented discs, today one the brake pipes failed, a solid one from the caliper to the flexible hose *drivers side but its a LHD. I think that the part is NTC8098 but that part appears obsolete, can anyone point me to the superseded part number? or a reasonable priced replacement? or a Paddocks part number? Making one myself isn't going to happen and live in the middle of nowhere so gonna need to order it online.

You can get a double flaring tool and make one. All car part shops will sell the pipe and unions.

Google out ANR1767, though double check with VIN cos what part number you said is only up to JA.... which afaik is '92 if you want part numbers use this site http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?PAGE=806778&SPRACHE=EN for other parts click on ''back to navigation" or ''home'' at the top

ANR1767 looks promising, my vin is ka034423 and the docs say it's 1993 so according to this site its the one i need. https://www.britishparts.co.uk/products/135013-brake-pipe-ANR1767, i also need a replacement caliper bolt (the loss of which caused all of these problems) the part number site says its a FTC3375, the 12 point do da's but I've a few spare of these and its surely not the one, i think its a 571910 which is a non-ventilated disc brakes-front - UNF - 7/16" which looks exactly like the one i need except mines is defiantly a ventilated disc... this is murder.

i know exactly how you feel... maintaining a 23 years old car is always a challenge... fortunately it's Land Rover cos other manufacturers dont supply any parts for more than 15 years old ones

we bodged a piece of pipe to do until the proper pipe arrives then I spent two hot and confusing hours at a local Italian scrap yard before eventually finding replacement UNF caliper bolt, it's all back together now but despite bleeding it many, many times, i just can't get pressure on the pedal. I'm going to have a sandwich then try swearing at it for a while.

If the reservoir got empty you have to bleed it all around in the right sequence(from shortest to longest line) not just the wheel where you worked on it.

got it thanks, did all four wheels,flushed through 4 bottles of fluid and still had no pressure, and then found the third nipple, three nipples.... i might have known there were three nipples but then forgot. Anyway sorted for now, thanks for advice!
