Brake pedal problem....possible servo?

Hi all,

I've done a bit of looking about for a solution but can't seem to find anybody in the same situation.

When I apply my brakes (not particularly hard, just normal braking) they work fine, but if I am to take my foot off the brake pedal and brake immediately again, the pedal is rock hard and braking seems to be less effective. Has anyone encountered this and maybe know whats up?

sounds like a servo or lack of vac to the servo problem ,check the vac hose and any teeing of it

as james has said , vacuum hoses are known to get holes burnt into them , or perish over age
