Hi

I have a new "noise" on my Rangie. I only use this car the week-end and every single times when I press the brake pedal for the first time it make a squeaking noise. Every single Saturday at first start (P to D), the rest of the week-end no problems, brakes are rock solid (I changed pretty much everything a year ago even the very expensive stuff below the Brake fluid tank as well as the pump + accumulator).

This noise only appear when I do not use the car for a few days, use it everyday (holidays 2-3 weeks) no noises.

Does the pedal need to be lubricated someone? Air in the System?

Thanks

Brake pads contact areas need smear of copper grease, obviously i do NOT mean on pad friction face,,,, also more likely is light rust/oxidation on discs, as you only use at weekends it entirely reasonable to experience this now the weather is wetter.
Give it a 5 mile run during week as well.

Hi
We all agree that the noise comes only once and when the car has not yet moved while I change the gear from P to D (engine turned on, obviously). This noise only happen at THAT time, ONCE.

Hardly the end of the world really,

Yes indeed, but like everything on a RR small noises can become bigger problems and I want to make sure that I am not ignoring something that could bit me in the ass... And add on top of this the basic security aspect of this part of the car.
