Brake noise from rear of 90

Hey all, I was using the local pay and play this weekend and my Landy spent some time in the water/mud. Now she is making what sounds to me like a brake noise (sticking/draging) when I turn to the right. The noise increases/decreases with road speed. When I apply brakes it goes away. I dont hear the noise when I go straight or turn left. I have an early 90 so I have the drum brakes in the rear. I did a search and other folks had this problem but they had rear disk so it would be different for me. I am hopping it is only mud/dirt in the drum but fear it might be bearings or something else.
