Brake lights

no brake lights, fuse ok. where is the brake light switch.

on my jap import Disco the brake switch is up near the top of the brake pedal and the switch is operated by the lever pushing a small rod to operate.
Awkward to change but can be done. Maybe just out of line. try pushing the rod by yourself with someone watching the lights.

Thanks for that, bulbs ok fuse ok, so either the switch or wireing at fault, will have a look 2morrow

Check the wires at the switch. Sometimes they can get pulled back a little bit.
