This may be a stupid question!
I replaced the rear calipers and bled the brakes - noticed when filling the reservoir it wont fill up to the max line. It only reaches max when I place the cap back on with the float.

Is there an overflow on the reservoir to prevent overfilling ? Hadn't noticed this before - so wondering if normal or if there is something else going on.

No puddles under the car either - wondering where all this fluid is going!

Cheers.

Just added a tad under 500ml and it's now settled. The ABS block was replaced the other week so maybe has something to do with it.
Brakes are perfect, peddle is rock hard - clutch is spot on.

Think I'll take it to local indy and get them to bleed the whole system inc the block and clutch just to be on the safe side.

Cheers for the advice - appreciated as always.

if the ABS modulator was replaced it need a power bleed with tester or at least find a place to make the HDC work hard then it will push out the trapped air between the outlet valves and return pump cos that circuit is not affected by pedal bleed then bleed again but the best is with tester

ABS unit was replaced by LR main dealer so "should" have been done correctly. They charged for absolutely everything including a tiny can of brake cleaner. They didn't charge for brake fluid nor did the calipers look like they has been touched. That is why I'm wondering if they bled the system correctly.
It was done under third party warranty so didn't have to pay :p £2k bill!

Will be off to LR indy next week for a good flush.
