brake discs

I have a 1994 'L' 300Tdi 110 Defender.

I am currently in the process of overhauling the brakes amongst other things.

I ordered replacement discs, two front and two rear. I received four fronts (was charged for what I ordered...). I queried this with the supplier and they told me that the fronts will fit either the front or the rear as they are so similar. There is only a couple of mm difference in the diameter.

Does anybody know whether this is the case - has anybody tried it?

Same disc was used for front and back on the 110. stc7329 or something like that.

I had hoped that would be the reply, thank you for the information. It's just annoying that I've been charged more for the rears than the fronts and they're exactly the same... still, not a mistake I'll make again.
