Got to replace the accumulator. I'll bleed the brakes at the same time. Once I've de-pressurised the system can I use my power bleeder? I mean the type you use the pressure of the spare wheel to force the fluid through the system? I've used it on all manner of all over cars but they all had servo system. I don't want to blow any seals etc with 20 psi of brake fluid.

Download rave and follow the proceedure

Step away from the pressure bleeder !!

No, seriously, you don't need it, you've got a pump in the system already.
Do as Fanny says, read Rave and follow it to the letter.

Got Rave. What I haven't got is a spare leg to do the pumping while I'm at the Calliper end. However now I've read the procedure it's pretty clear this isn't a one man job. I'll have to get some help

I bled the brakes recently after fitting new discs, pads and accumulator, I followed procedure in detail and it went ok, it does need two people and one of the master bleed screws is a pain to get at, I found that a short piece of neoprene tube at the end of the bleed hose made it easier to fit on to the master bleed nipples

I've got a device that is basically a transparent tube with a non return valve fitted at the end, which removes the need to close the bleed valve when you take the foot of the pedal, thus permitting the operation to be done alone. It's still quite a pain to do, because one has to constantly go check the tube to see if all the air has been expelled, but it's an option when there's no one else around to help..
