Brake accumulator

Just thought I would make a new post so doesn't get lost in my other post, my brake pump before was working every press of pedal and lights on dash taking 30+seconds to go out so I changed accumulator on heavy brake press the pump is going every 3-4 pedal presses, usually 4 and light brake or normal braking ever 8-9 presses, pedal also feels firmer and the level of brake fluid at bulk head tank stays a little above full now when engine running before it sat at full so my question is does it sound normal

Yes. Is how it is meant to be. Pump should only run after every 3 or 4 braking operations.

Thanks bud, I've a mate that thinks his is every 8-9 and I've read some sites saying up to 30 but I didn't think that sounded right so best to ask I also found accumulator probably easiest job ever on p38 3 minutes all done lol

The book says 30 presses to completely remove all pressure from the system

I wasn't meaning to depressurize system, I ment in normal operation

I know, but i meant, there's no way you could get 30 presses normally
