Brackets!!!!?

Hi,
Could someone tell me what the brackets are used for beside the quarter windows on a 3 door.......?

They sit around half way up on the 'A' pillar.....

The brackets half way up the quarter window are used to support a metal bar for use with a canvas back, which is interchangable with the hardback.


A posts are the ones that surround the windscreen though.

I think your refering to the C post brackets?

Like the 'shower cover' is that standard Land Rover or where can i get one?
I fitted a hard plastic parcel shelf to keep prying eyes/hands out of the boot if i have the hardback off & am parked up......but wondered what i can get to keep anybody reaching into the actual car over the seats......hence my original question re the brackets......wondered if there was some kind of 'grill/guard' that fitted on.....

It's genuine land rover. Got it off eBay. It zips on so not overly secure but no windows? Never seen a grill
