Bought another p38 same colour of interior and exterior as a donor for mine but now thinking of swapping the bits off mine onto the donor it drives like a dream shame to scrap her really the two together will give a brilliant motor

It is another 98 bit of bubbling on the doors and seats worn done 150k usual door lock rf issues apart from that all ok especially drivetrain mine has a ropey engine leaking rear hub suspect wheel bearing is gone and a brake modulator not behaving think the plastic discs are fooked oh and mine is dirty and this one is shiny so al in all could make one good un

Has a new engine fitted by Lancaster in Reading for £7k two years and 8000 miles ago

So thinking swap engine rear axle front radius arms brakes all round and door catches as the doors open without a click

sounds like a good project. You swapping the good bits from your current onto the 'new' then? Sounds like this would be easiest option.
Just had my rear hub replaced today - leaking & bearings fecked.

To be honest not sure which way round as the existing has multi[point lpg system fitted and existing has no becm issues and all works so may put engine and drivetrain from new onto it and swap a few doors around to get no bubbling good thing is purely by chance everything works on one of them so should be able to put a really tidy one together with thebits
