Bought another :-D RR P38 DSE

After much deliberation whether to fix my broken RR P38 i decided to buy another one and so I have. Its in brilliant condition and has been well looked after. I will upload pics later tonight but for now theres a few things i need to sort possibly lol

A few details for now -

97 'R' 2.5 DSE
109,000 Miles
12 Months MOT
6 Months Tax
Updated Lights all round
New Tyres All Round (Never heard of Manufacturer though 'Clear')
New Brake Pads All Round
New Battery (I want to eventually do a dual battery system)
Grey leather
Tow Bar (Barely Used If at All)
Midnight Blue
All the Suspension looks to have been refreshed and it has also had the 'O' Rings done already.

Possible Issues

- Possibly Thermostat as temp never gets to halfway on a drive. Only goes to about 1/3rd of the way up. Never to Halfway.
- Possibly RF reciever starts up fine etc but possibly preventative but need to check it 1st
- Heated seats dont seem to be working

Things to be done -
- Diagnostic on HEVAC as 'Chequebook' symbol is on
- Tracking
- Replace RR Tape HU and possibly Subs so will poss need Clarkys (sp) wiring
- Tint Windows

So if anyone can read the HEVAC it would be much appreciated and you will be sorted with Beer Tokens ;p

worth checking to see if the viscous fan is over cooling the engine.
Datatek has the details of an air con fan mod which lets you remove the viscous on the diesel, works well.

Temp sender need replacing, giving wrong reading??

Check that you have a stat in there before you spend any more money.

How do i make a visual check? Is it behind the radiator on the front of the block?

Like anything open it and take a look inside lol while you've gone to the effort of looking might as well change it less that £10

Things that I have done -

Windows have been Tinted - slightly lighter than Limo
Replaced Original CD Player (plugged straight in with no wiring issues)
Tracking is getting done today
Ordered new updated RF reciever last night - (due to fecking escapade at :violent:Morrisons lol)

Dropping RR off at garage tomorrow to get checked over as well

And then get the codes read on the HEVAC.
