I'm chopping my rear chassis off soon and welding on a new one its been plated before no point plating it any more as you can buy a complete rear chassis for a couple of hundred quid a days work and its done but itsnot at the top of my list which is actually very small.
Go on give it a go weld it up they make easy overseas if you don't want to chop the back end off
