evenin all


got a major problem......... my radio dont work...:mad::mad:

pretty sure the amps blown,,

thinking of putting a different head unit (not landy one) in,,,but can i just put a new one in (with a wiring adaptor iso thingy) or do i need to find which wires go to the old knackred amp and disconnect them ?

please help,,, its so boring without the radio....:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:
 
gee..... before they all rip ya to shreds, just replace ya head unit and buy the connections from halfords to save you a heart attack..
 
It would seem that the single amp system in the later models is not that robust. Mine died a couple of weeks ago. I have my electronics guru looking at my amp, but in the off chance he doesnt sort it for me I have been looking at other ideas. This led me to this site. Its a bit of a long post but there is some excellent info there, namely the pin outs on the amp. As far as my reasearch has found the amps are the same as used in the BMW 3 series (E46) I may try going down the straight swap route if my man doesnt have any luck as I have been unable to find a RR one anywhere.I have yet to find confirmation of the BMW part No. for the amp with DSP though.

Anyone ???
