Good Morning folks.

The rear box is looking slightly ropey and fancy opening the noise up a little. I've spied some cherry bomb exhaust rears which I remember from years ago on the internet and wondered if it is a standard fit.

It's a 4.0 Early example P38. The exhaust routes from the nearside to the rear diagonally with about a foot and a half including the back box.

Has anyone fitted one? and is it a standard fit?

Thanks in advance!

Mike.

Indeed, apologies for ambiguity, I was wondering if anyone had fitted one to similar car really, to guide me...

I'll get my tape measure out.

MY RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 1987 IS 56 MM OUTSIDE DIAMETER FROM REAR BOX BACK
just took off the stainless twin pipe outlet back box and fitted a side exit pipe
love that v8 sound
original twin pipe back box is straight through and as been cut off but ok for someone replacing to standard spec

Haven't go it anymore but my 4.6 had no middle box no cats with standard twin rear
And sounded feking amazing :)
Once thought about giving the diesel the same treatment cos afterall its a 6 cylinder
but thought better of it
