hello there need help me old rangie classic is now gone bought a discovery 300tdi which needs a new boot floor putting in part av bought boesnt seem to have wheel arches cut out do you have to do this your self ??? has anyone done this before and could giv me any help poss pics on this thanks . andy

boot floor doesn't reach the arches it fits between them. If the floor near the arches have gone, Then ya need to buy the side infill panels and weld them in place before welding the floor panel in place.

stupid question but how long does it take to fit one assuring that the rest of the arch area is fine as a few garages have quoted me 2/3 days of labour which i cant really see drop fuel tank, cut out ,clean off, and weld i thought ??

not quite that simple as you have to drill all the spot welds out. But 1 full day in a well equipped garage should see the floor out and new one in. Post some pics up so we can see what else needs doing.
