Evening all,
Got my hand on a very cheap 300tdi today (to replace my mpi) although it has mot/tax and drives really well it does have one big issue.. or hole! the entire boot floor panel is shot to bits.. So I'm wondering is this something that an amateur welder can do (not me I have a mate who's been doing car repairs for years)? Or should I stump up to have this done professionally?
Also.. I was looking on paddocks website.. the floor panel is about 50 quid.. but they also list two different support peices.. But when I look at the holey mess in the back of the landy I cant see any supports? How many support pieces should there be?
(the arches, side pieces etc are all fine so its just the center pieces of the boot I need to get done...
Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated. J
