Evening all, last weekend I had a 25l drum of 10w40 in the back of the disco, went round a roundabout and knocked it over and the lid wasn't on as well as I thought, lost about 20 litres all over the floor... (fortunately I didn't pay for the oil..)

A lot of it soaked in and has probably done a decent job of rust proofing the boot floor and surrounding areas for a while :D Most of it did end up pouring out the back and I did mop up quite a bit too

Problem now is, with all this hot weather, it stinks of oil inside, I love the smell but the mrs don't, what can I use to get it out of the carpet, bearing in mind it is completely saturated in clean oil!
