boost gauge on 300tdi

Hi just joined forum

Just got new turbo for my 300 defender. Hoping to up the boost to 1 bar. Got boost valve & gauge. Can anybody tell me if i can fit gauge straight to inlet manifold for a better reading please?

No reason you cant. Mine is tapped into the inlet manifold so I get the actual manifold pressure reading rather than the pressure at the turbo outlet. I'm told that the pressure can vary by up to 4psi across the intercooler. Mine was about 2psi different.

and 2" lift. got some marshal ventura mt boots of e bay cant wate to get in the mud:rolly:
