Boost and oil

hi everyone,
ive got a defender with a 200tdi conversion.

i heard the boost should be 12psi as standard, and mines about 16psi ish, is this too much? its all running fine as i can tell, plenty of power/not too much black smoke, only on start up and full throttle, but i took the pipe from the top of the intercooler to the manifold and its lined with oil, i cleaned them a month ago and their all full again.
so is this turbo on its way out? has an oil seal gone in the turbo to its just chucking it into the pipes?

boost is fine oil is a matter of how much all turbos pass some oil ,tame off bottom hose to see how much has collected, its normal for pipes to be wet

ah that's all right then, the pipes are lined with oil, but their not dripping wet

as long as it dosent blue smoke or white smoke itll be altight

it does burn oil when you first start it, and just pootle around, and only on over run. but as soon as you give it some throttle it stops burning. doesnt white smoke though
