Bonnet sensor

Hi all

I keep getting a warning that the bonnet is open even when it's not, I open and close it several times and sometimes it will go off but other times just keeps saying it's still open and beeping at me.

I reckon the sensor is knackered but not sure where it is or how to replace, could someone enlighten me.

this is how mine started before it buggered up all together..
its the little micro switch on the bonnet lock on the slam panel.. its underneath it.if you un-bolt the latch and look underneath it you will see the switch,i just put some tape round it to hold it in making it think the bonnet was shut....simple!..and no beeping anymore...+ if it was open i would see it when driving anyhow...

try to clean the contacts and check its got a good earth
