hi all

the front of the bonnet on my 200tdi looks like it needs to go down about a inch
it looks like it is still open. can the catch that goes into the slam panel be adjusted so the front goes down a bit further

You can adjust the knobby thing that goes into it, by turning the end, i think. You can with mine anyway.

either that or the recess plate that the catch goes into isnt aligned properly and the bonnet catch isnt locating properly

cheers i tried to turn it with a spanner but was tight and didnt want to snap it off,will ply it with wd40 tomorrow and see what happens
