How can the bonnet be adjusted to give a slightly larger gap at the front when closed, only need about 1mm? Reason being I'm trying to fit a set of RAW Engineering theft deterrent bars. The lights got nicked from mine while the dealer from whom I bought it had left it overnight for valeting. So it's sporting a nice, shiny set of brand new lights and I would like to keep them.
Problem is when having fitted the vertical bars they are just fouling on the edge of the bonnet. The instructions warn to check for this as adjustment may be required but leaves it at that.
So I could do with adjusting the bonnet slightly either vertically or moving forwards. Or I could gently grind a small flat on the offending bars.
