Hi,

I am struggling to find a website that sells replacement rear windowless van panels for a land rover 90 (1986). What is the actual name for this panel (the windowless type)? and how easy is it to change them?

aww :( That's the kind of response I thought I may get. I have turned over every single crumb on ebay with no real sucess. They all have friggin windows. How come no one produces them? Surely people must still need them!

I may have to keep my eyes open.

get some wiff windows then take windows out and weld in a panel, grind down flat and paint the fooker.
it can be done as me brother did it on an vw combi fooking years ago
 
Thanks for the slob! Mine has windows, but I can't really start welding in plates and grinding stuff down. Don't have the equipment or the money! I will 'ave to make do, or laminate the glass with a matching colour sticky back plastic

Superb idea Slob, that'd look really nice, especially If I could get them in black (paint them) to match the current chequer plate. I'll keep my eyes open.

surely you can actualy get chequer plate windows, or cut some chequer plate to patch them (i see how i've dug myself into a hole)
 
over here some landy dealers have opticians employed purly to adjust the focal point of landy windscreens so i suspose they could do it wiff chequer plate ones
