im looking at getting my classic rr bobtailed,does anybody know of anyone who does this in northern england preferably,any idea of how much it is roughly? must be done to a high standard.

Looking back on it, it probably took me about 100 hours to do mine spread over 6 months. I'm sure a professional outfit could do it faster but there has to be a good week's work to do a decent job. By the time you add in materials etc I would guess you would be looking at a couple of grand.

been after a defender for ages and cant find owt decent for under £3000. then theres a couple of grand to get it up to a good off road standard ,had to admit defeat and get a rr
