BMW injector to replace my DSE injector?????

Hello, im finally gettin round to changin my electronic injector thats been weaping since day 1, could i go to my local scrappy and get 1 from a BMW 525 tds or does it have to be from a Rangie dse??? i found a list with all the M51 engines and what they fitted them into but they have differant bhp output....

there must be a simple answer, and will the plugs be the same????

you can get the ones you have in your car renovated for lesthan haf the price at one .

find a boch diesel service worke shop

mine is at the shop now and I have got a aprox prise of 60£

i have just changed my injectors on my dse and i ordered them off e bay and they were out of a 525 bmw worked fine ...have you tryed stripping down the injector they arnt hard and you can buy a ultrasonic cleaner machine from mapplins for £30 done mine loads of times just be carefull with the little bleed off pipes on each 1 as they are fragile

blimey that is cheap,much cheaper than going for new,and as good as,

just a word of warning though make sure you only do 1 at a time as to not mix up your injector parts . its not difficult the injectors split quit easy they have a few parts inside but easy to sus out if you get stuck i have some injectors that i keep as spair

thats way i have bosch diesel service do the worke .
it tahe them aprox 1houer to do all 6 .
her is the home page , maby there are a worke shop neer you

The problem is tho that the black plastic bit at the top but on the side where the elec sence wire comes out is leaking, i can strip injectors and build them but the elec 1s are a differant thing ive never had to mess with before, ive built the standard injectors for VW and lister and mitsi (and a few other marine diesels) but elec... nope... if i pull it to bits and fook it up my rangies off the road but if i just get 1 its the safer bet.

you all can just pm me fi you cant find anyon to do it in the uk
i am thinking about bying a spere set and getting them renewed at bosch . then i can send them to the uk or were i shal be if i get 6 back in return ..

if yes will you sell them
