Bluetooth problems

Hi have a 2008 3.6 v8td vogue se .the problem i an having is every time I start the carthe Bluetooth connects to my phone and then rings my wife's number..if I cut the the call its then fine for the rest of the journey, it only happens when I reconnect when ignition turned off and back on .thanks barry

Sounds like your wife is spying on you Turn off Bluetooth on your phone when you don't need it.

Hi thanks for your message, unfortunately not possible to turn off as I have other devices connected to it so really needs to be on 24/7

Not saying I have an answer but
Has it always done it?
Is it always the wife? or the last number you called?
If it's always the wife you could put a new entry in under a different name and remove a few digits from her old entry. Won't fix the issue but may stop it ringing her.

Tried that already it seems to have my wife's number in memory on the car cause if I remove it from my phone it still rings the same number

Ok looks like I have solved it. I cleared the cache on the phones Bluetooth app and that seems to have worked

I think your RR is grassing you up when you sneak off

At least it was your wife as could be a bit awkward if the good lady was in the car with you and it called another female and it answered "Hello darling"
