Hi, after giving up finding a decent looking green lighted oemish stereo, I am now concentrating my time into getting bluetooth especially a2dp on my nice looking oem cd player, which is made by visteon, model 6500 looks like.
I was wondering if somebody did this before and can guide me.
Basically I have two options that I can think of:
  1. some SOT lead that can put sound from any bluetooth device which I can hide behind the dash, give 12v and connect. Cd has no aux input therefore I need to hook that up, but still be able to switch to radio.
  2. There are some bluetooth interfaces that mimic the cd changer, I've had one on my mercedes and works very well. However I don't know which cd changer is this (I do have the cabling under seat) and on what other cars was fitted so I can buy it. I also don't recognise the connector...
Or, if there is a way to solder something within and give up cd function for bluetooth, that is the hard way.
FM transmitters are all crap, some are better but I gave up.

Alpine UTE-200bt is prob the best looking and rgb scale for leds, making it match the dash lights. But a bit expensive and still looks from another dimension.

Thanks
