Blue smoke on over run and tickover

Now won't restart reconditioned injectors and pump new lift pump glow plugs starter motor
I'm considering buying a running n/a defender engine as straight swap for my sherpa j15 piece of junk any thoughts
Will only jump start by towing

could be worn injection pump, ive had those that wont create enough pressure at cranking speed

Yeah unfortunately I have a reconditioned injection pump so it should be ok

so was one i had,it depends how much or little theyve changed

Finally got it running and starting turned out there was no feed to fuel solenoid whilst cranking

Hi everyone been using the landy quite a bit now I did replace valve stem oil seals because of blue smoke on tick over and over run but not under load. Had trouble ordering correct valve seals one batch felt too loose another lot felt better was left wondering if they were correct only it made no difference to blue smoke issue question are inlet and exhaust the same size? 2.5na defender engine
