Blown turbo

The turbo has given up on my 2002 Freelander Td4 any ideas on best place to get another ?according to someone who knows better than me mine sounds beyond repair

Cashel Car Sales do Freelander bits. Couple of us on the forum use them.

dependng on your expertese levels you can get a new cartridge of ebay for £100 ish. I haver fitted one so cannot guide on how easy or hard it is. I only know as I bought a spare td4 engine as it was cheap at £100. The guy gave me the duff Turbo, I keep meaning to buy an insert and recon it.

That's got to be worth a go if you have the confidence to re build it, there's a company called melett who do them it's worth looking them up on google, they are just a bit more expensive but seem very professional.
