blown gasket

Hi not too good on here so not sure where to write stuff.
Blown my head gasket on my 300 tdi defender and was wondering if anyone could advise me on the best gasket. Multi layer or not as some say they dont work but there supposed to be the best.

composite err5263g imo,other thicknesses are available

any particular reason as most shops have told me the multi layer is the way forward but heard bad reports.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it as Im new on here but could you be a bit more specific if you have the time as I want to be sure I do the job once only at least for a while.
The motor is slightly tuned and has had the pump tweaked and raised boost.

no multi layer is several steel layers and supposed to hold better combuustion pressures
