Morning all,
I have had a frustrating weekend trying to workout why my blower fans are not working, so far I have found and completed the following:
1. Blower Motors - Stripped down and cleaned, both work with direct supply from the battery with circuit board removed.
2. Fuses and relays, wiring at fuse box all cleaned and checked.
3. 12v supply going to the motor from the multi-plug.
4. HEVAC Units - This has been stripped down, cleaned and refitted, however the dial is loose to turn and then stiffens, adjusted forks where it meets circuit board.
I can now only imagine it is either the HEVAC unit is faulty or the circuit boards on the blower motors are faulty as both fans do not work. When driving along there is a slow drift of air but can only imagine this is from the air entering the car as when I adjust the speed of the fans nothing happens.
If anyone has had this issue and found the above would be appreciated if there is anything else I can check?
Thanks,
