blower motor

I have a 1990 "G" Discovery 200 Tdi

I have been trying to fix my blowers on the cheap, and was wondering if anyone knew if you can get a "service kit" for the motor or if it is a change the whole motor only.


I have tryed cleaning the dust out of the motor, lubing the back bearing but it still is not turning. Probably worn brushes but am i on a wild goose chase to find them on the spares market?

just as old , Meastro and Montego had same blower motor , long shot but you never know what some sad old git kept on the road !!! have a feeling that some Lotus cars had same motor as well.
