Hello,
I've noticed over the past week or so that the steering feels 'funny' on my 90. It's never been the best in the world (i.e. slack and a bit of wondering etc.) but I find now that when I turn a corner, it's almost as of the back wheels are steering for me, or it suddenly decides to turn a lot more as so to speak. I did have a problem with the off side rear trailing arm bracket a while ago, which had snapped off the axle and was allowing the axle to wobble all over the place. I've since fixed this however. Also, there is an apparent knocking / constant juddering when driving over ruts or when the drive alternates between the transmission and the wheels for example. I'm putting my money on the problem being the rear A-frame bushes or the ball joint but what's the best way to tell? As far as I can see, both rear springs are in good shape and seated properly. One of my shock absorbers is knocking slightly but I know what that sounds like and I'm getting a different knocking sound. I'm puzzled.
I'm going to go down to my specialists tomorrow just to see if they can identify the problem for certain. I've got to drive to Ipswich on Friday!!!
Any ideas?
